HOW THE LAW OF ATTRACTION CAN HELP YOU CREATE MORE INNER PEACE DURING THE HOLIDAYS!!!

Is it possible to create more inner peace during the holidays?  Could the Law of Attraction help make it easier than it sounds?

The Law of Attraction is a Universal Law as real as gravity that affects all of us whether we are aware of it or not.  It simply says that like attracts like.   This means that whatever you focus on expands and you attract more of it.  So as you focus on connecting to that feeling of inner peace, you will continue to create more of that same feeling in each moment.

How do you do this, especially during the holidays when there are so many distractions and other things that consume your attention?

First of all, you will need to discover exactly what inner peace feels like to you.  After you get crystal clear about that feeling, it is simply a matter of choosing to use the power of your intention and focus to help you pave the way to feel how you want to feel more often.

Here is a quick and easy way to discover what inner peace feels like to you

Gently close your eyes and imagine breathing in the essence of that feeling.  Notice its amazing energy flowing through every cell in your body. Continue breathing in and out as you become so focused on experiencing its essence that you feel like you are becoming it.  In this space, you are connecting with yourself in a way that will create more inner peace.

Choose one or as many of the 11 possible ways listed below to consciously use the power of your intention to continue to create more of that feeling.

1. One of the best and easiest things you can do to reconnect with the peace that’s always within you is to breathe deeply in and out, focusing on your breath.  You can do this anywhere, anytime no matter what is going on around you.

2. Give yourself permission to say “no”.  Avoid taking action that is forced or that doesn’t feel right to you in the moment.

3. Say “yes” and take action when it feels right and good, and comes from a place of inspiration instead of intellectual analysis.

4. Consider creating new traditions that carry some of the flavors and best feelings from the past, that work better, feel better and are more appropriate for your present situation.

5. Accept where you are at in the moment.  Be real with yourself. For example, if you have a full-time job, a new baby, a sick child and it’s your turn to have the holiday dinner at your house, suggest going out instead. You need the time, space and energy to handle what’s on your plate right now.

6. Be in the present moment.  When things change, “go with the flow”.  Resistance will only drain your energy, so let go of any past, present or future expectations.

7. Use the power of your intention to remain peaceful and focused on your true purpose in the “center of the storm” or chaos happening all around you.

8. Express your gratitude and feel grateful for all that you have been blessed with each day, hour, and moment.

9. Have fun, enjoy, laugh, relax…!  Leave the dishes, create time to be with family and friends.  Love them and share time together.

10. Take time to be alone to love and take care of yourself too.  Stay true to yourself in whatever way you are inspired to, in each moment.

What can you do to relax, refresh and renew yourself?  Here are some ideas to help you:

  • Take a hot bath or shower.

  • Meditate.

  • Do some Yoga or Qi Gong.

  • Go for a walk in nature.

  • Get away from the present situation and breathe.

  • Go to the gym or exercise.

  • Listen to your favorite music.

  • Watch a movie.

  • Take a nap.

  • Savor a cup of tea…

11. Use any one or all of these five simple Law of Attraction processes daily to help you feel more at peace.

  • One of the best processes to help you stay focused on how you want to feel is Segment Intending from the book Ask and It Is Given by Abraham Hicks.  Before you go to sleep, or when you wake up in the morning, think about how amazing you want your day to go each step of the way as you feel how good it feels throughout your whole body.

  • Keeping a Gratitude Journal and listing at least 5 to 10 things you are grateful for each day will also help keep you more positive and peaceful.

  • Daily Meditation is essential to maintaining your inner focus throughout the day.  Even 5 minutes a day can change your whole perspective and allow the desires of your heart to flow more easily to you.

  • When life happens and you are in a challenging situation, try asking yourself, Wouldn’t It Be Nice if…?,  another Abraham Hicks process from Ask and It Is Given.   By asking yourself, Wouldn’t it be nice if…? and then completing the question with what you want instead, you will feel better.  It will also help you open up to the options you have available to you to start creating the outcome you want.

  •  After thinking about what you want, you can use another Abraham Hicks process called “Turning It Over To The Manager” to be able to more easily release what you don’t have control over.  By letting go of the situation and allowing whatever is for everyone’s highest good to happen, you will reconnect with your own inner peace.  This frees you to be able to stay grounded where you can more easily feel how you want to feel.

There are an unlimited number of possibilities and ways to consciously use your focus and power of intention, as you also work with the Law of Attraction to create more inner peace.  These are only some suggestions. As you follow your own inspiration and do what feels best to you, you also could discover a few more of your own.

The real secret to creating more inner peace during the holidays is simply choosing to use the Law of Attraction to help you stay true to yourself in the middle of all the holiday distractions and demands on your time.

You will have everything you need to create more inner peace in each holiday moment once you make a conscious choice to follow your own inner guidance and take the actions you are inspired to take to enjoy your life, especially during the holidays!

How to Use the Law of Attraction to Create Successful Sleep!

Do you struggle to get the sleep you need?  Or sometimes, do you overindulge in too much sleep?  In this fast-paced world, it is challenging to find a healthy balance.   Have you ever gone to bed only to toss and turn all night as your mind plays old reruns or new worries? When this happens, your mind can get stuck in perpetual overload with more information to store, process and remember as you try to relax and go to sleep.  Have you ever been so caught up in what you are doing that you forget to go to bed until you are so tired that you fall asleep before you get there? Unsuccessful sleep is way too familiar to most of us. It affects our health, well being, relationships, family, careers and every other part of our lives.

So what is successful sleep?

Successful sleep is when you go to bed comfortably tired, fall asleep effortlessly and easily, waking up feeling refreshed and renewed.

How can you return to successful sleep?

It is easier than you think!  The Law of Attraction can help you create whatever you focus on. First of all, you must be crystal clear about what you want.  When you think about having unsuccessful sleep, guess what, that is what you get more of. But if you keep returning your thoughts and especially your feelings to how wonderful you feel when you do get the perfect amount of rest, by the Law of Attraction, it has to happen!  It’s a Universal Law, just like gravity.

Because we are so conditioned to the thoughts and feelings that are dominant in the world we live in, you may have believed that there is some complex methodology to have a more successful sleep.  With practice, focus and a strong commitment you will succeed at changing that conditioning. Before you know it, you will be experiencing successful sleep on a regular basis!

Here are a few tools you can use to help you:

1.   Accept where you are at right now and allow the changes to occur naturally, with a perfect love for yourself each step of the way.

2.  Script out how you know you will feel when you get the perfect amount of rest as if it has already happened.  Read this daily and add to it as needed. If you are comfortable, read it out loud to yourself for more powerful results.

3.  Throughout the day, think the thought “Wouldn’t I Be Nice If… ” and add good feeling thoughts about how wonderful it will be when you are getting more successful sleep and what you will be able to accomplish.   When you continue this for at least 68 seconds, you allow your mind to really grasp it and allow the changes to begin. Speaking it out loud with passion and excitement will also add more power to the process.

4.   Intend to get to bed at the perfect time for you.  Leave all your worries and concerns in the bathroom as you prepare for bed and promise them that you will tend to them tomorrow.  Write them down if that helps you let go of them for the night. Turn them over to your Divine Self, God, your Source, the Universe to take care of tomorrow.  Do whatever works for you and feels good and natural.

5.   Go to sleep with a heart full of gratitude for all your blessings and especially for effortless, easy and successful sleep.

If using any of these tools feels uncomfortable, think the thought “I am in the process of…”, and add how you are working on creating more successful sleep, thinking about how you know you are going to feel.  Feel the truth of your words in your heart.

As with any improvement you are trying to make in your life, be gentle with yourself when you lose your focus and fall back into old patterns.  Lovingly accept this when it happens and gratefully return to your preferred thoughts and feelings about successful sleep!

Good luck with this!!!  Know that you are not alone and it will be worth all your effort!!!

FROM LACK AND LIMITATION TO ABUNDANCE AND INFINITE POSSIBILITIES! Especially as a Caregiver!

Are you struggling with financial concerns and problems as a result of being a caregiver?  This can definitely be a big part of the stress for anyone who is caring for a family member.  When you are faced with a medical catastrophe, even if you do have insurance coverage, or not, navigating through paying all the bills and expenses is almost more stressful than caring for your loved one.

In my experience, it was my perspective and attitude that got me through all of this with flying colors.  I know that we live in an Abundant Universe and God, or our Source is infinitely loving and does answer our prayers, but we do have to do our part.  Here are the 5 most important steps you can take to facilitate this process:

  • Ask for the help you need.

  • Believe in yourself and your ability to successfully get through this time.

  • Trust yourself and the process

  • Be grateful for everything you have been given and will receive.

  • Do everything you are inspired to do in your present reality to get the help you need.

How do you ask for help?  First and foremost, you go within and pray, imagine, or intend that it will all work out in the best possible way for everyone. And Let Go of how, when and where the answers and solutions will come from.  Prepare yourself to be surprised and delighted at the way it all unfolds as you hold your focus on your desires being fulfilled.

What can you do to believe in yourself enough to be able to get through all of it?  Remember any and all of the times you have successfully maneuvered through difficult situations in the past.  How did you feel after your accomplishments? Think of your present situation and imagine feeling the same way you did then, as you take every action to get where you want to go now.  Stay focused on that feeling every step of the way and create a series of celebrations as you successfully complete each step.

To trust yourself and the process means that you stop second-guessing your decisions. And you don’t let others or the present moment conditions scatter your focus.  This can dilute the possible outcome and stop the flow of what you really want from coming to you.

Being Grateful is one of the most powerful ways to bring in more of your Abundance.  It helps open your heart to the infinite possibilities that are just waiting for you to help you in the most unexpected and miraculous ways.

Since we are physical beings, you do have to take the necessary actions you are inspired to take to get what you want.  But, if you have already done the previous steps, this action can feel effortless and easy.

As Bob Proctor has said, “ Lack and Limitation can only exist when we make room for them in our mind.”  No matter what your circumstances are, frequently focusing on your infinite possibilities and taking the actions you are inspired to take will open the door to more of your abundance, especially as a caregiver.

Is Procrastination Holding You Back?

Do you ever feel like you have so many things you want to accomplish that you can’t ever seem to get them done, or even start doing them?  How does that make you feel? Does it make you feel like you are lazy? Do you get frustrated with yourself? Do you feel like a failure? Is that how you want to feel?

The dictionary defines procrastination as:

  1. the action of delaying or postponing something

In my experience, I found that even when I felt like I was procrastinating, eventually everything still got done. Even if it didn’t get done, I realized that it all worked out better than I ever expected it to.  I often wondered what was making me feel so bad.

As I began learning more about the Law of Attraction and how “like attracts like”, it dawned on me that my thoughts could be attracting the way I was feeling.  When I started consciously watching my thoughts, I decided to try to think about procrastination in a more positive way. I began to realize that maybe it was just a way to delay what wasn’t meant to happen at that time or at all.  Knowing that made me feel a lot better and I began to be easier on myself whenever I felt like I was procrastinating. It even felt better to think about it as perfect timing instead of procrastination.

When I began to relax about getting it all done, new resources and people became available that made everything so much easier and faster to accomplish.  I opened up to new possibilities of how it all could get done. I started getting excited about how it was all going to get done. Before I knew it, I began enjoying taking action to complete whatever I wanted to do.  I was definitely having more Fun.

In my experience, it is our perspective that creates our reality.  Now when I think of all the things I want to accomplish, I know it will all be done in its own perfect timing.  Procrastination no longer exists in my thoughts. If it ever does come to mind, I just reach for better feeling thoughts about it.

Here are some of the better feeling thoughts I discovered about procrastination:

  • I have plenty of time to get this done

  • I have, know or can find out what I need to get this done

  • I have enough energy to complete everything I want to do

  • It is O.K. to take time to relax before I begin

  • I am successful in all areas of my life

  • It will all get done in the perfect time and the perfect way

  • I now allow myself to accomplish all that needs to be done

  • It is Fun to do whatever I want

  • It is exciting to look for all the possible ways to get everything done

  • The better I feel, the easier it all gets accomplished

I encourage you to start watching what you are thinking when you feel like you are procrastinating.  Then follow these 6 easy steps:

  1. Create a list of your own better feeling thoughts to add to the list above.

  2. Read them whenever you feel like you are being held back by your own thoughts about procrastination.

  3. Check in with yourself often to see how you feel.

  4. Notice your thoughts and how they have changed your perception about procrastination.

  5. See the difference in the outcome.

  6. Relax, Enjoy and have Fun!  It will all get done!

Caring For Yourself As a Caregiver

Do you find yourself serving others from the “Depths of Your Well”?  Maybe you work in a hospital, clinic, rehab center or other care facility. Or your passion in life is being a parent and caring for your children.  Perhaps you are being there for someone in your immediate family who is in need of your care. Whatever your circumstances, you are committed to helping others.  But after you do, you feel too empty to take care of yourself.

If you are breezing through each day feeling energized by what you do, taking time to take care of yourself from the inside out, eating well, exercising and getting enough sleep, then you do not need to read the rest of this article.  However, if you are struggling with being able to accomplish any of these essentials as you are caring for others, please read on…

You probably already know what you need to do to take care of yourself.  And whatever way you choose to do that is your own personal choice. I believe the real issue here is how do you find the time and energy to care for yourself as you care for others?  How do you tap into creating that “Overflow”?

Through years of caring for my parents, my spouse, and others in hospitals as a nurse, I have discovered 4 easy steps that have made all the difference in my ability to feel energized by what I do as a caregiver.  They also helped me start to take better care of myself from the inside out.

Here are the 4 steps I discovered:

  • Learn to say “NO”

Get in touch with your own truth, listen to your heart and trust your intuition.  When choosing to do anything, if it’s feels like a little bit of a “No” then just say ”NO”.  Respect your own boundaries.

  • Have more FUN

Laugh more at yourself and look for more of the Fun in the situation.  Be easy with yourself knowing that you are doing your best. When you are having Fun you are opening up to more positive outcomes.

  • ASK for help

You aren’t alone. There are people all around you who are more than willing to help you.  Asking for their help gives them permission to support you when you need it.

  •  SEARCH for what uplifts and energizes you

As a caregiver, I found that looking at uplifting photos and quotes on Facebook helped me feel more energized and connected to my inner self.  It was this step that helped me focus on creating more ways to feel better.

I encourage you to find what uplifts and energizes you to care for yourself.  By finding better feeling thoughts about being a caregiver you will begin to take better feeling actions that will benefit you and those you are caring for.

Following these steps on a daily basis will help you find more time and energy to care for yourself.  Then it will be easier to serve others “from your Overflow”.
