How to Empower Your Life by Reinventing the White Horse Syndrome!

 

Do you allow yourself to be continuously hurt by others you have somehow idolized?  Have you put them on a pedestal, made into a knight in shining armor or a perfect princess?  Then when they show their unique human side, you become devastated thinking that they aren’t who you thought they were.  You are not alone. It is often referred to as the White Horse Syndrome.  The Urban Dictionary describes this as, “A condition in which a person’s frame of thought in all things romantic is completely dream oriented and not grounded in reality.”

As children growing up, we learned to do this from fairytales and the example of adults in our lives. However, these experiences were there to teach us how to use our imagination and empower us to become the unlimited, deliberate creators we came here to be.  It was never intended for us to give our power away to another human being that we had imagined to be everything we could never become like. By desperately trying to become like them or somehow fit into their life, we end up losing ourselves in the process. The real pain is that we desert our true selves and get lost in a romantic dream that isn’t grounded in reality.

The truth is, No one is here to rescue you from reality or save you from anything, including yourself.  There isn’t anything you need to be rescued from. As you stay grounded and present in each moment, connected to your own Divine Guidance, you are perfectly safe.  You will know everything you need to know to create your Heart’s Desires.

How do you reinvent the White Horse Syndrome?  These six steps will help you to empower your life by staying grounded and connected to your own Dreams.  You will then be able to get back on your own White Horse and tap into the unlimited possibilities you can become and create.

  1. Embrace yourself as Divinely Perfect just as you are.  There is nothing to change or improve.  You are more than enough. Love all parts of yourself for who you are as a human being.  The perceived good and bad are both parts of your path to wholeness. 

  2. Honor your feelings, and allow yourself to feel them.  Denying your feelings will only take you further away from who you truly are.  This can cause you to believe that you aren’t good enough, that there is something wrong with you, or that others have what you are missing.

  3. Embrace others as being Divinely Perfect just as they are.  Allow them to be human beings doing the best they can under their present circumstances, just like you are.  This doesn’t mean you have to like or even approve of every part of their personality, or actions. Just know that who they truly are goes far deeper than they will ever show most people.

  4. See others you admire as Mirrors reflecting all that you already are or have the capacity to become.  You are not them, but you couldn’t see something you like or love about them if you didn’t already possess that same quality or have the capacity to become more like it.  Use that reflection to encourage you to be your own unique version of what you see and appreciate in others. 

  5. Forgive and Let Go of anything anyone does that doesn’t turn out to be the way you thought it should be.  Accept that none of us have the whole picture. Hold onto the vision that somehow everything happens for the highest good of all. 

  6. Put everyone back up on their own white horse, including yourself.  See them as perfect, being Divinely guided to follow their own path and live their true purpose.  We are all doing our best and deserve each other’s compassion, including our own.

When we follow these steps, we are choosing to see the Highest truth for all. We are doing our best to keep riding that White Horse of our own dreams every day.

How to use the Law of Attraction to Continue to Create the Spirit of Christmas Throughout the New Year!

 

Did you think Christmas was over?  Just when you were feeling So Good…!

The feelings Christmas creates never have to end!  They can be the beginning of a wonderful opportunity to continue to share our JOY, LOVE, and PEACE with others and ourselves throughout the New Year.  

During the Christmas season we are often filled with the Spirit of Giving, Receiving, Peace, Love, and Joy. By using the Law of Attraction we can carry that spirit forward into the New Year. 

These six simple processes and techniques can help you Enjoy using the Law of Attraction to continue to create more of that Spirit of Christmas throughout the New Year:

  • Start and end each day with Gratitude.  Create a Gratitude Journal by using a special notebook or paper that feels meaningful to you.  Write down at least 5 things you are grateful for right after you wake up in the morning and right before you go to bed at night.

  • Take at least 5 to 10 minutes to Meditate twice a day.  Every morning after you wake up and every night before you go to bed, take time to meditate by breathing and reconnecting with the Truth of Who You Are as an unlimited spiritual being and powerful creator.

  • Use the Power of your Intention to Pre Pave Your Day for Success.  See it filled with more Peace, Love, Joy, and Abundance every step of the way.  Write down exactly what you want to happen and how you want to feel as you are creating your to-do list at night or before you start your day.

  • Practice Pivoting Your Thoughts to ones that Feel Better.  Develop your ability to be more aware of what you are thinking each moment.  Then find better feeling thoughts to replace the ones that aren’t supporting how you want to feel and what you want to create in your life.

  • Let Go of what you can’t take care of or change and Focus on the Divine Perfection in Everything.  Your perspective and focus are where you begin to create what happens next.  Choose where you want to hold your attention and what you want to believe about Your Future.  As you change your perspective, what you experience and the way you feel about it will also improve.

  • Sincerely ASK for what you Want,  BELIEVE with all of your Heart, and Open up to  RECEIVE with Total Gratitude.  Check out my previous article, Three Simple Things You Need To Do To Get What You Want for Christmas and Throughout the New Year” to help you continue to more easily attract the Desires of your Heart.

Applying any one or all of these Law of Attraction processes and techniques will help you continue to create more JOY, LOVE, PEACE and that Spirit of Christmas throughout the New Year.  I encourage you to follow your own inner guidance and do whatever feels best to you.

HOW THE LAW OF ATTRACTION CAN HELP YOU CREATE MORE INNER PEACE DURING THE HOLIDAYS!!!

 

Is it possible to create more inner peace during the holidays?  Could the Law of Attraction help make it easier than it sounds? 

The Law of Attraction is a Universal Law as real as gravity that affects all of us whether we are aware of it or not.  It simply says that like attracts like.   This means that whatever you focus on expands and you attract more of it.  So as you focus on connecting to that feeling of inner peace, you will continue to create more of that same feeling in each moment.

How do you do this, especially during the holidays when there are so many distractions and other things that consume your attention?

First of all, you will need to discover exactly what inner peace feels like to you.  After you get crystal clear about that feeling, it is simply a matter of choosing to use the power of your intention and focus to help you pave the way to feel how you want to feel more often.  

Here is a quick and easy way to discover what inner peace feels like to you

Gently close your eyes and imagine breathing in the essence of that feeling.  Notice its amazing energy flowing through every cell in your body. Continue breathing in and out as you become so focused on experiencing its essence that you feel like you are becoming it.  In this space, you are connecting with yourself in a way that will create more inner peace. 

Choose one or as many of the 11 possible ways listed below to consciously use the power of your intention to continue to create more of that feeling.  

1. One of the best and easiest things you can do to reconnect with the peace that’s always within you is to breathe deeply in and out, focusing on your breath.  You can do this anywhere, anytime no matter what is going on around you.

2. Give yourself permission to say “no”.  Avoid taking action that is forced or that doesn’t feel right to you in the moment.

3. Say “yes” and take action when it feels right and good, and comes from a place of inspiration instead of intellectual analysis.

4. Consider creating new traditions that carry some of the flavors and best feelings from the past, that work better, feel better and are more appropriate for your present situation.

5. Accept where you are at in the moment.  Be real with yourself. For example, if you have a full-time job, a new baby, a sick child and it’s your turn to have the holiday dinner at your house, suggest going out instead. You need the time, space and energy to handle what’s on your plate right now.

6. Be in the present moment.  When things change, “go with the flow”.  Resistance will only drain your energy, so let go of any past, present or future expectations.

7. Use the power of your intention to remain peaceful and focused on your true purpose in the “center of the storm” or chaos happening all around you.

8. Express your gratitude and feel grateful for all that you have been blessed with each day, hour, and moment.

9. Have fun, enjoy, laugh, relax…!  Leave the dishes, create time to be with family and friends.  Love them and share time together.

10. Take time to be alone to love and take care of yourself too.  Stay true to yourself in whatever way you are inspired to, in each moment.  

      What can you do to relax, refresh and renew yourself?  Here are some ideas to help you:

  • Take a hot bath or shower.

  • Meditate. 

  • Do some Yoga or Qi Gong. 

  • Go for a walk in nature.

  • Get away from the present situation and breathe.

  • Go to the gym or exercise.

  • Listen to your favorite music.

  • Watch a movie.

  • Take a nap.

  • Savor a cup of tea…

11. Use any one or all of these five simple Law of Attraction processes daily to help you feel more at peace.  

  • One of the best processes to help you stay focused on how you want to feel is Segment Intending from the book Ask and It Is Given by Abraham Hicks.  Before you go to sleep, or when you wake up in the morning, think about how amazing you want your day to go each step of the way as you feel how good it feels throughout your whole body.   

  • Keeping a Gratitude Journal and listing at least 5 to 10 things you are grateful for each day will also help keep you more positive and peaceful.  

  • Daily Meditation is essential to maintaining your inner focus throughout the day.  Even 5 minutes a day can change your whole perspective and allow the desires of your heart to flow more easily to you.

  • When life happens and you are in a challenging situation, try asking yourself, Wouldn’t It Be Nice if…?,  another Abraham Hicks process from Ask and It Is Given.   By asking yourself, Wouldn’t it be nice if…? and then completing the question with what you want instead, you will feel better.  It will also help you open up to the options you have available to you to start creating the outcome you want.

  •  After thinking about what you want, you can use another Abraham Hicks process called “Turning It Over To The Manager” to be able to more easily release what you don’t have control over.  By letting go of the situation and allowing whatever is for everyone’s highest good to happen, you will reconnect with your own inner peace.  This frees you to be able to stay grounded where you can more easily feel how you want to feel.

There are an unlimited number of possibilities and ways to consciously use your focus and power of intention, as you also work with the Law of Attraction to create more inner peace.  These are only some suggestions. As you follow your own inspiration and do what feels best to you, you also could discover a few more of your own.

The real secret to creating more inner peace during the holidays is simply choosing to use the Law of Attraction to help you stay true to yourself in the middle of all the holiday distractions and demands on your time. 

You will have everything you need to create more inner peace in each holiday moment once you make a conscious choice to follow your own inner guidance and take the actions you are inspired to take to enjoy your life, especially during the holidays!

How to Use the Law of Attraction to Create Successful Sleep!

 

Do you struggle to get the sleep you need?  Or sometimes, do you overindulge in too much sleep?  In this fast-paced world, it is challenging to find a healthy balance.   Have you ever gone to bed only to toss and turn all night as your mind plays old reruns or new worries? When this happens, your mind can get stuck in perpetual overload with more information to store, process and remember as you try to relax and go to sleep.  Have you ever been so caught up in what you are doing that you forget to go to bed until you are so tired that you fall asleep before you get there? Unsuccessful sleep is way too familiar to most of us. It affects our health, well being, relationships, family, careers and every other part of our lives.

So what is successful sleep?

 Successful sleep is when you go to bed comfortably tired, fall asleep effortlessly and easily, waking up feeling refreshed and renewed. 

How can you return to successful sleep?

 It is easier than you think!  The Law of Attraction can help you create whatever you focus on. First of all, you must be crystal clear about what you want.  When you think about having unsuccessful sleep, guess what, that is what you get more of. But if you keep returning your thoughts and especially your feelings to how wonderful you feel when you do get the perfect amount of rest, by the Law of Attraction, it has to happen!  It’s a Universal Law, just like gravity.  

Because we are so conditioned to the thoughts and feelings that are dominant in the world we live in, you may have believed that there is some complex methodology to have a more successful sleep.  With practice, focus and a strong commitment you will succeed at changing that conditioning. Before you know it, you will be experiencing successful sleep on a regular basis!

Here are a few tools you can use to help you:

1.   Accept where you are at right now and allow the changes to occur naturally, with a perfect love for yourself each step of the way.

2.  Script out how you know you will feel when you get the perfect amount of rest as if it has already happened.  Read this daily and add to it as needed. If you are comfortable, read it out loud to yourself for more powerful results.

3.  Throughout the day, think the thought “Wouldn’t I Be Nice If… ” and add good feeling thoughts about how wonderful it will be when you are getting more successful sleep and what you will be able to accomplish.   When you continue this for at least 68 seconds, you allow your mind to really grasp it and allow the changes to begin. Speaking it out loud with passion and excitement will also add more power to the process.

4.   Intend to get to bed at the perfect time for you.  Leave all your worries and concerns in the bathroom as you prepare for bed and promise them that you will tend to them tomorrow.  Write them down if that helps you let go of them for the night. Turn them over to your Divine Self, God, your Source, the Universe to take care of tomorrow.  Do whatever works for you and feels good and natural.

5.   Go to sleep with a heart full of gratitude for all your blessings and especially for effortless, easy and successful sleep.

If using any of these tools feels uncomfortable, think the thought “I am in the process of…”, and add how you are working on creating more successful sleep, thinking about how you know you are going to feel.  Feel the truth of your words in your heart.

As with any improvement you are trying to make in your life, be gentle with yourself when you lose your focus and fall back into old patterns.  Lovingly accept this when it happens and gratefully return to your preferred thoughts and feelings about successful sleep!

FREE TO BE ME!!!

If you are a habitual people pleaser, like I have been, it is probably hard to feel personally empowered, free to be yourself, or happy, joyful, peaceful and loving.  Instead, it can make you feel unempowered, imprisoned, stressed, anxious, codependent and victimized.

Over time, this habit can become a big part of your identity and make you lose sight of who you really are.  You may not even realize that you are being a people pleaser because it is the only way you know how to be. As others pick up on this, you find yourself allowing them to use you.  Then you become a victim of their desires.

As you choose to put your wants and needs last, you begin to resent that you are always making everyone else happy by sacrificing your own needs. This can make you feel like you are very good at making peace, but not good at feeling so peaceful within yourself.  You deny yourself having good feelings so that others can have them. You may start to feel like you are the martyr and suffering in silence as you try to borrow some of the good feelings you are so freely giving away to others.

What makes you do this?  Don’t you matter as much as they do?  Where did this come from?

I know that I learned this from my mother.  As I grew up, my mother’s model of being perfect to make others happy taught me how to please others by putting them first.  Over time, with repetition and practice, I became just like her.

As soon as I became aware that I was a people pleaser, I made a conscious decision to change this habit.  The choice I made to be a model of thriving while being personally empowered and uplifting others from my position of strength, clarity, and alignment has become such a rich blessing.  It has made me Free To Be Me.

If you feel like you have been leaving yourself behind and putting others needs and wants first, I invite you to freely choose to BE YOU too, right now, by putting your dominant hand over your heart and promising yourself that from this moment forward you will take whatever steps you are inspired to take to thrive, become personally empowered from a position of strength, clarity, and alignment.  This conscious decision alone will help you shift your present course to help you open up to the path to your freedom.

Then to reinforce this conscious choice, practice these simple steps every day:

  • Take time to follow your heart every moment of every day by making decisions based on what feels best to you, no matter what others say or do.  

  • Just pause, breathe and relax. 

  • Allow the best answer/direction for you to come into your mind.

  • When you are ready, take action based on how you feel, guided by your heart, soul, and higher self.

  • Check-in with yourself to see how you are feeling about continuing to move in the direction you choose.  Sometimes it only takes a small adjustment to make all the difference in feeling totally comfortable and free.

  • As you feel inspired, make any adjustments in the direction you are moving.  You can change your path whenever you want. No decision is ever set in cement.

  • Have Fun!  Just Enjoy Experiencing and Experimenting with what works best for You!

With diligent practice and the power of your intention, before you know it, you will be living free, being who you truly are with everyone and under any and all circumstances.
