“There is no relationship of greater importance to achieve than the relationship between you, in your physical body, right here and now, and the Soul/Source/God from which you have come.
If you tend to that relationship first and foremost, you will then, and only then, have the stable footing to proceed into other relationships.Your relationship with your own body; your relationship with money; your relationship with your parents, children, grandchildren, the people you work with, your government, your world … will all fall swiftly and easily into alignment once you tend to this fundamental, primary relationship first.”
-Esther Hicks ‘The Vortex’
How do you create a relationship with yourself that is so strong, it isn’t affected by all the other relationships in your life? First of all, keep your focus on your own feelings and truth. Your Emotional Guidance System will help you find your way through the ups and downs of life. What others think and do may not feel, or be right for you. Follow your own path, the one that directs you from your center, soul, or the truth of who you are.
How do you communicate and connect with your true self? Spend quiet time, alone with yourself, in meditation, contemplation, relaxation, or just breathing deeply to ground and center yourself. The more often you can do this, the better you will become at keeping the communication lines open with your Higher Self, the one who has all the best answers for you. When I coach people to help them find answers to their problems, I always have them spend a few moments getting centered and grounded before we do any work. I want them to find their own truth, what feels and works the best for them. I know from my own experience that the only place you can find the answers that are right for you, is from your “Soul/Source/God”.
How much time does it take to accomplish this? You can find your center right now by focusing on your breathing, as you take a few deep, cleansing breaths. When you begin to relax and feel your feet on the ground, you are there. This is something that you can do in any situation. You may want to excuse yourself and leave the room for a moment, but the results will be worth it! In this space, you can move confidently and calmly through any situation, never loosing control of yourself…the only control you really have.
I hope this information helps you improve your life and your relationship with yourself and your truth! Have fun finding your center and the direction that feels and is right for you!
